Never judge anyone by one of their traits - Multiple Intelligence

Updated: Mar 21, 2021

“Oh, you’re not good with numbers?”,

“Oh, you don’t understand science?” I am sure many of us have heard these lines at least once in our lives and it’s very wrong, honestly, it’s downright demeaning to anyone for that matter. But what people don’t realise is that it doesn’t matter if you’re not exactly good at logical reasoning. There are a lot of things based on which a person can be judged. So generally what I have noticed is that people judge a particular person on two visible traits which are--Linguistic-Verbal and Logical reasoning, not realising that there are other crucial traits also. And this is a proven concept that states there aren’t one nor two but eight types of intelligence based on which a person can be judged by. It could

be-Music, Kinesthetic, Interpersonal, Intrapersonal, Visual-spatial etc. Now, this theory is something that I have recently come across and it feels so good to know that such a theory exists which does not favour logical intelligence over other traits rather keeps it on the same platform as others.

Also no matter what I do in the coming years I’d be more than happy to advocate for multiple intelligence and researches that state that way because it very important for people to be aware with the fact that six more things as important as reasoning linguistic skills when it comes to judging someone’s potential. So in short what I am trying to say is that it’s perfectly okay to be who you are, but at the same time accept your weaknesses and work on it because one should embrace certain flaws the way they because trust me when you’ll be doing that you’re going to realise about some of your greatest strengths.
